Yamunotri Yatra Package

Yamunotri is one of the four sacred shrines of the Char Dham pilgrimage in Uttarakhand, India. It is the source of the Yamuna River and is highly revered in Hinduism.

Day 1- Drive Delhi to Haridwar

Start your day early by heading to the train station or bus terminal in Delhi. Book your tickets in advance for the 5-6 hour journey to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and refresh after your trip. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri, a significant ghat known for its spiritual ambiance. After the Aarti, dine at a nearby restaurant or return to your hotel for dinner to enjoy local delicacies. Reflect on the day’s spiritual experiences before retiring for the night.

Day 2- Haridwar to Barkot

After breakfast in Haridwar, check out and begin your approximately 7-hour drive to Barkot, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind in the fresh mountain air. Have dinner at the hotel or a nearby eatery, sampling local cuisine. Retire to your room for a restful night’s sleep, preparing for upcoming adventures.

Day 3- Barkot to Yamunotri Temple

Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Barkot. Depart for Jankichatti, a 2-hour drive offering scenic mountain views. Begin your 6-kilometer trek to Yamunotri Temple, surrounded by lush greenery. You can walk, hire a pony, or use a doli (palanquin) for the trek. After prayers, enjoy a dip in the nearby hot springs known for their healing properties, and visit Surya Kund for blessings. Afterward, drive back to Barkot, taking around 2 hours. Enjoy a restful night at your hotel, reflecting on the day's spiritual and scenic experiences.

Day 4- Barkot to Rishikesh

After breakfast, check out and depart from Barkot for Rishikesh, a 4-hour drive with scenic mountain and valley views. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and refresh. Then, explore Rishikesh’s temples and ashrams, and attend the enchanting evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. After the ceremony, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel.

Day 5- Rishikesh to Delhi

After breakfast at your hotel in Rishikesh, depart for the 5-hour drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your airport or railway station for your onward journey. Complete your check-in and allow time for security checks and boarding.
